Description

Today we have a very interesting Mauser C96 with Westley Richards retail mark on the stock for the Boar War contract.  This is a very hard to find Antique pre 1899 pistol. Only the first 15000 C96 pistols are considered antique by the ATF. This pistol was purchased in South Africa and imported into the United States. It dose not show any import marks because it is an antique firearm. It will come with a document from Mauro Baudino who has access to the shipping records. This shows that certain blocks were shipped to Westley Richards retail store. Westley Richards was know for selling Martini rifles to the Boers as well as other firearms.  They would have also sold these pistols to British offices like Winston Churchill who used one in the Boar war himself. This handgun is in great shape for the age with only slight bluing lose. There is a serial number lightly engraved on the bottom of the barrel as seen in the photos to comply with South African export laws. Bore condition is strong but dark. Stock condition is poor but serviceable with old repair bolt and cracks running along the body and butt of the stock.
